WhatsApp is working on a new feature to let users connect directly with human support through its web client.
As reported by WABetaInfo, the latest beta version introduces a “Chat with Us” option in the Help section. It enables users to contact the support team without navigating through a series of FAQs.
The feature simplifies the process by allowing users to initiate direct conversations with support staff. Users selecting “Chat with Us” will receive responses via WhatsApp chat. Initial replies may still be automated or AI-generated, but users can request assistance from a human representative if needed.
According to WABetaInfo, users will first receive a message requesting details about their issue. The same conversation will be used to send a follow-up message once the required information has been supplied.
Although the functionality is still in development, it is anticipated to be released in a future web client update and intends to provide faster and more individualized service.
