WhatsApp for Android beta introduces group audio, video call features. The two most anticipated features, group video call and group voice call are introduced in Android version of WhatsApp for now. It means the iOS version will also come very soon.
To access group video call feature, you will have to update app to version 2.18.189, while group voice call is available right now for v2.18.192. Please note the features are available for WhatsApp beta only for testing with intentions to make it available for everyone after some stability.
According to WAbetainfo, WhatsApp group voice and video calls seems to support a total of four participants, including the person who makes the call. This means three other participants can be added in a group video or audio call
According to a tweet, the feature is being rolled out for Windows users too.
WhatsApp is enabling group voice and video calls for Windows Phone users too.
If you didn’t get the feature yet, please wait the next days. pic.twitter.com/yfGzNVzb3K— WABetaInfo (@WABetaInfo) June 19, 2018
