Keep holding your phone and look at your WhatsApp messages because WhatsApp has just announced that million of users worldwide will not be able to use WhatsApp.
The Facebook owned company has announced that it will stop giving support to old operating systems. This will leave many users unable to send and receive messages on WhatsApp worldwide.
“We’ll no longer actively develop for [old] operating systems, [so] some features might stop functioning at any time. If you currently use an older operating system, we recommend upgrading to a newer version.”
Starting today, WhatsApp has stopped new users setting up a WhatsApp account on either iOS 7 or below versions as well as on Android Gingerbread operating systems. Many features will stop working on both iOS and Android old operating systems
As we know, iPhone 4 does not upgrade to iOS7 and to higher versions, same goes for old Android phones where the latest operating system can not be installed because of low ram and storage space, it is astalavista for WhatsApp on such phones.
