The Health and Nutrition Development Society (HANDS) and Zong 4G, Pakistan’s Top Telecommunications Company, have teamed up to establish a cutting-edge Digital Lab at the FAS School in Noor Muhammad Goth, close to Karachi.
Zong 4G’s Sustainability Program
This collaboration, which is a part of Zong 4G’s Sustainability Programme, intends to give students in underserved areas access to advanced technological tools that will enable them to become more proficient digital citizens. The school currently has 120 students enrolled, but it is constantly expanding to ensure that more students can receive a top-notch education.
HANDS: A Driving Force for Positive Change
A non-profit organization called HANDS works tirelessly to develop Pakistan’s infrastructure, reduce poverty, and enhance the country’s healthcare and educational systems.
The Collaborative Endeavor
Zong 4G and HANDS share the same goal of closing the digital divide in Pakistan by giving students unfettered access to the internet so they can develop their knowledge requirements and succeed in the digital age.
The school is now hopeful about the beneficial influence of the recently established digital lab in facilitating a more seamless and joyful educational experience for students, having previously faced challenges in providing digital access to children.
