Significant deals have been made between Pakistani IT companies and major Saudi Arabian and international companies during the LEAP tech exhibition in Riyadh. This event features the newest technologies from March 4 to March 7. There are 600 startups and over 1,800 exhibitors from all over the world participating.
The P@SHA chairman, Muhammad Zohaib Khan, stated that this year’s conference is essential. With the successful completion of LEAP 2023 last year, $9 billion in IT contracts were awarded to Pakistani companies. Last year, Pakistani companies received leads valued at over $100 million. This year, 70 Pakistani companies—20 startups—are participating, marking the most significant number of Pakistani companies involved in this international industry.
There are 27 firms at the Pakistan Pavilion, and additional Pakistani participants are drawing interest from prominent international IT companies as well as Gulf government officials. To boost commercial interactions, P@SHA and the Bahraini IT Association have reached their largest-ever agreement. Abacus Consulting and Elm, a Saudi digital solutions business, and Inbox Technologies and GISSAN, a Saudi Arabian organization, are two notable agreements.
SuperNova Solutions inked value cooperation with Saudi investors at the Pakistan Pavilion, which was opened by Pakistan’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Farooq. He said, there is a lot of space for further developed IT collaboration between Pakistan and the Middle East, particularly considering Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which tries to expand its economy. Pakistani organizations are showing blockchain, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and different solutions.
To increase Pakistan’s IT influence in the Middle East, especially in Saudi Arabia, Pakistani companies must be well-represented at LEAP 2024. To strengthen IT sector connections between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, the event also featured the Saudi-Pak Tech Forum.
Pakistani enterprises have a wonderful opportunity to showcase their expertise and discover new opportunities in the area at the LEAP exhibition, since the country’s IT sector is one of the top five export industries and is experiencing substantial growth.
