Lovable Partners With Google Cloud in Long-Term Agreement, Usage Set to Jump 5x

Lovable Signs Google Cloud Deal, Usage to Rise 5x

Lovable has signed a new long-term partnership with Google. The agreement will expand the startup’s use of Google Cloud as demand for its AI platform continues to grow.

The companies did not reveal the value of the deal. However, a source familiar with the agreement told TechCrunch that Lovable will increase its Google Cloud usage by five times. That includes both cloud infrastructure and AI services.

The Stockholm-based company will also get wider access to AI models from Anthropic and Google. These include Claude, a popular model for coding tasks, and Google’s Gemini models.

The deal comes as Lovable continues to grow at a rapid pace. The company says it reached $400 million in annualized revenue in February. It added $100 million in just one month. Despite that growth, Lovable has only 146 employees.

According to the company, more than half of Fortune 500 firms use its platform in some way.

The partnership covers more than cloud computing.

Lovable’s AI agent will be listed in Google’s enterprise marketplace. This will allow business customers to find and deploy the tool through Google Cloud. It could also make purchasing and billing easier for large organizations.

Another part of the agreement involves cybersecurity.

Lovable plans to integrate its platform with Wiz, the security company Google acquired earlier this year. The integration is designed to spot security issues in code as they happen. It can also help fix those problems before they become larger risks.

The agreement could help Lovable attract more enterprise customers. At the same time, it gives Google another fast-growing customer that relies heavily on its cloud and AI services.

As competition in the AI industry grows, major technology companies are looking to strengthen relationships with startups that are gaining traction in the market. This partnership reflects that trend.
