Meta quietly launched a new AI fashion application called Style Sketch. The app helps users create outfit combinations using clothing items they currently own. The software links directly with Instagram to assemble a digital wardrobe from previously uploaded photos. Users can also add clothing manually by taking pictures, filming quick video clips, or selecting images from their device library.
Style Sketch then recommends outfit ideas generated from your personal wardrobe to match your fashion preferences. Users can preview these outfits on a realistic digital model designed to match their body shape and skin tone, according to the app listing.
Social media consultant Matt Navarra first spotted the app release. Style Sketch is currently available on iOS and Android across Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand.
Meta did not respond to a request for additional comment. It remains unclear if Meta plans to expand Style Sketch to broader global markets.

Multiple competing applications already utilize artificial intelligence to digitize closets and generate outfit concepts. Startups like Alta offer similar digital wardrobe features. Google Photos also includes native tools that allow users to convert clothing pictures into digital closets for outfit planning.
To stand out against established competitors, Meta will likely leverage its deep Instagram integration rather than relying solely on novel features. Most users already maintain a detailed visual history of their personal fashion on Instagram.
Instead of relying strictly on automated recommendations, users can select a single item from their closet to generate custom outfit suggestions around it.
The app also assists users with vacation wardrobe preparation. Users input their travel destination, trip duration, and scheduled activities to generate a daily outfit itinerary. The system factors local weather forecasts and planned events into every recommendation.
Style Sketch represents one of several experimental AI applications released by Meta in recent months. The company recently launched Waddle World, an AI-powered experience resembling a classic Tamagotchi pet. Meta also unveiled Pocket for vibe-coding games alongside Vibes, a tool enabling fast AI video generation.

This steady wave of mobile releases stems from a broader product initiative across Meta. The Wall Street Journal reported earlier this year that CEO Mark Zuckerberg instructed staff to increase software deployment rates. AI-driven development tools have made shipping new standalone applications significantly faster and easier for internal teams.
