At its Made On YouTube annual event, YouTube announced new tools. These updates target YouTube Studio. That’s the app creators use to manage their channels. The goal is helping creators analyze videos and grow their audiences. These updates include expanding Ask Studio.
That’s YouTube’s AI-powered Q&A feature. It’s now expanding to both iOS and Android. The update also includes new features. These provide feedback on drafts and create dynamic thumbnails.
The draft-feedback feature uses AI in a specific way. It looks at a creator’s unpublished video directly. From there, it provides suggestions about pacing, structure, and storytelling. YouTube is also debuting something new. That’s a research feed within the Studio app. This feed shows creators what kind of content is currently working on the platform. Creators can then apply their own take on these trends.
Creators tend to be particular about preview images and titles for their videos. The Studio app addresses this directly now. It lets creators generate thumbnails and titles automatically. These get based on a video’s actual content.

They’re also matched to each creator’s personal style. Creators can also use a new dynamic thumbnail feature. This generates three different thumbnail options. Each option gets shown to a different segment of the audience.
YouTube shared some usage data around this feature too. Creators have used the platform’s A/B testing feature extensively. They’ve run more than 40 million tests on titles and thumbnails combined. Soon, the company said, users will gain a new capability.
They’ll be able to test up to three video cuts. This helps them see which opening hook actually works best. Later this year, YouTube Studio will add another feature. It will automatically monitor thumbnail performance over time. If a thumbnail doesn’t perform well, the system will proactively change it.
YouTube also announced updates to its analytics system. These updates go beyond simply showing raw numbers. The system will now explain why videos perform the way they do. It will also provide specific advice. This helps creators make their content more engaging overall.
Beyond the Studio app revamp, YouTube introduced additional creator tools too. That includes conversational editing within Shorts. It also includes this feature in the YouTube Create app.
